The inspiration

Sero Collection Inspiration

The Sero collection is an homage to empathy, embodied in physical form through the warmth of rose gold that threads together rose-cut diamonds in an intricate pattern around a central, soft-toned Ayoka pearl.

Our artisans were specially trained in this technique to develop the Sero collection, drawing inspiration from fine embroidery, a handcraft that exists in myriad forms across cultures around the world, dating back to 30,000 BC.

Sourced from Japan, the Ayoka pearl is known for its perfectly round shape, cultured by nucleating the oyster with a mother-of-pearl bead. These pearls typically grow two per harvest, making them rarer and more precious than freshwater pearls.

1,100 hours were dedicated to the original prototype for the Sero designs.
