Charkha Collection

The spirit of a person who leads and creates a positive impact in the world is captured in the Charkha collection through jewels inspired by the design of a charkha or spinning wheel – which was a symbol of India’s non-violent freedom movement led by Mahatma Gandhi.

A first-of-its-kind proprietary ’Charkha cut’ diamond, which evokes the spokes of a spinning wheel, has been specially designed and crafted for many pieces in this collection. With 16 folds and 82 facets, it challenges the existing rules of play of light, maximum brilliance, fire, and utility usually followed in diamond cutting. The diamond itself took 8 months to create, through high-level innovation.
